Folk Attire in Ziemia
Przemyska
The Rzeszow Region of Historic
Malopolska
Historic Malopolska originally had two regions, Ziemia Sandomierzska and Ziemia Krakowska, with the addition of Ziemia Przemyska in the 14th Century. The residents of Ziemia Przemyska, the Przemysl Region which extended westward to Jaroslaw and Rzeszow, developed their own unique and colorful fashion style which distinguished them from folks in other regions. For the men, it included a blue sleeveless morning coat, blue trousers, black boots, and a black wide-brimmed hat. For the women, a white blouse and apron, black embroidered vest, red skirt, and black boots. |
