The Church of Saint Stanislaus BM
In the 19th Century, Jasliska was in the administrative district of Sanok and Rymanow township. The surrounding area was divided between Rymanow and Bukowsko townships.

Jewish residents of the villages of Jasiel, Moszczaniec, and Surowica worshipped in Bukowsko Miasto. The Jewish residents of all the other villages worshipped in Rymanow.

Greek Catholic residents of Jasliska, Daliowa, and Posada Jasliska worshipped at Daliowa. However, Greek Catholic residents of the other villages worshipped at churches in Lipowiec, Surowica, Pulawy, Polany Surowice, and Wola Nizna.

A study of the relationships of Jasliska's Polish, Jewish, and Lemko residents was written by Rosa Lehmann, "Symbiosis and Ambivalence: Poles and Jews in a Small Galician Town", Berghahn Books, New York, 2001.
