The Roman Catholic parish at Mala was established in 1760-1761. Jewish residents worshipped at Ropczyce. No Greek Catholic residents were recorded.

Today, Mala Parish is part of the Deanery of Ropczyce in the Diocese of Rzeszow. It lies in Ropczyce Township, Ropczyce-Sedziszow County, and Podkarpackie Province.
