Pilzno is an old town and predates the earliest surviving records of the area. It is at least 1000 years old. In 1890, Pilzno was the seat of both the administrative district and the township. It held the Roman Catholic parish church, a monestary, and the Jewish synagogue. No Greek Catholics lived in the parish. |
