| Zabierzow may be the parish that gave birth to Rzeszow. According old chronicles, the parish dates back to 1115 AD and was part of the Diocese of Krakow. The current church had lengthy modifications in 1909. In 1890, Zabierzow, and its adjacent villages, was in the Rzeszow administrative district and Rzeszow township. Jewish residents worshipped in Rzeszow. There were no Greek Catholic residents recorded as residents, but those in the area worshipped at Zalesie. |
