In 1890, Ranizow was in the Kolbuszowa administrative district and Sokolow township (gmina). Jewish residents in Mazury and Zielonka worshipped at Sokolow, but the balance worshipped in Ranizow. There were no Greek Catholics recorded as residents of any of the villages.
