Born to parents Franciszek Bieniasz (1844-1940) and
Jozefa Serafin (1846-1927) on 30 November 1876 in Glowaczowa,
Debica Township, Tarnow province, Galicia (Poland).
His paternal grandparents were Andrzej Bieniasz, son
of Franciszek Bieniasz and Ewa Gawle, and
Katarzyna Lada, daughter of Wojciech Lada and
Agatha Kutrzuba.
His maternal grandparents were Pawel Serafin, son of
Jacob Serafin and Marianna Krupa, and Anna
Olexy, daughter of Blazej Olexy and Katarzyna
Niemiec.
Christened at the parish church in Straszecin.
Served in the 40th or 90th Infantry Regiment of the Austrian
army. Position: Company clerk. (Actually translated as "Scribe")
Trained as a machinist in Galicia. Did apprenticeship in
Germany.
Emigrated to the USA, arriving port of NY on the Graf Waldersee
from Hamburg on 11 October 1901.
First stayed with sister Veronika Bieniasz in Webster
MA, 1901, in the house owned by Josephine and Michael
Niemiec, his maternal first cousin.
This home is still the residence of Niemiec
descendants.
Married Michalina Rak on 23 November 1904 at Straszecin parish.
Returned to USA, arriving port of NY on the Graf Waldersee from
Hamburg on 31 March 1905.
Together with bride, Michalina, and sister Aniela
Rieniarz visited "cousin Veronika Zajda" in Utica NY in April
1905.
Occupations: Machinist, farmer, real estate agent.
Died on 1 November 1942 in Chicago.
Interred at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles IL
