Roadside Chapel in Korabina

Spie Parish dates back to 1773 when the first parish church was erected. Prior to that time, Roman Catholic residents of the area worshipped at Miechocin.

In 1900, Spie and most of its neighboring villages were in the Nisko administrative district and Nisko township (gmina). The exceptions were Rusinow and Wola Rsinowska which were in Kolbuszowa administrative district and Kolbuszowa township and Wilcza Wola which was in Kolbuszowa administrative district and Sokolow township. Jewish residents of these villages worshipped at Nisko, Rudnik, Majdan, and/or Ranizow. There were no Greek Catholic residents recorded.
