| Trzesowka was established as an independent parish in 1788. Prior to that time it was part of Cmolas Parish. The old church was built in 1759-1788 and, although it has been replaced with a new church building, it serves as the site of funeral Masses for the parish. The new church is a very recent addition. In 1900, Trzesowka and its adjacent villages were in the Kolbuszowa administrative district and Kolbuszowa township (gmina). Jewish residents worshipped in Kolbuszowa. No Greek Catholic were counted among its residents. |
